About The Position

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography procedures in accordance with established department policies and procedures to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. The role reviews exam requests and patient identification, completes imaging examinations in a timely manner while meeting quality and compliance standards, and applies radiation protection measures for patients, staff, and self. The technologist may also assist with orienting and training new staff. Additional duties may be assigned. This position is part of Vanderbilt Health’s Computed Tomography organization. The role calls for foundational proficiency in patient documentation, compliance, radiology, and anatomy and physiology, and involves working with occasional guidance, analyzing moderately complex problems, and providing informal guidance and support to team members. Requirements

Licensure through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
