About The Position
Responsible for performing and coordinating CT scanning procedures, operating complex CT equipment, positioning patients safely, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Requirements
- 2+ years of X-Ray experience.
- CT experience/proficiency required for the role.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Traveler experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CT equipment according to established protocols.
- Safely position and transfer patients and use immobilization devices when needed.
- Verify patient identity, allergies, and relevant medical history.
- Administer IV contrast when required and monitor patients for reactions.
- Produce, capture, store, and transfer digital diagnostic images.
- Perform daily equipment calibration and quality control.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean work environment.
- Assist radiologists and physicians with specialized procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, including basic CPR.
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist with staff training and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain required professional registry.
