About The Position

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a per-diem CT Technologist for its Davenport Office. The role prepares and operates CT scan equipment, administers contrast materials, and produces computerized tomographic images of specified areas. The technologist also gathers patient histories, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Requirements

Valid Florida CRT is required.
Valid AHA BLS certification is required.
Fluency in English.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Accurate, proficient computer skills, including EMR and data entry.
Successful background screening and drug testing are conditions of employment.
Various vaccinations, including influenza, are required for new hires unless an exemption is approved.

Nice To Haves

ARRT Certification in (R) (CT) is preferred.
At least two years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately interpret physician orders.
