About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the C/T Technologist performs general radiographic studies according to established Q.A. criteria. They scan and organize images, complete required paperwork and charges. The role is responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations, assisting and instructing patients, and performing bedside radiography. Additionally, the technologist will assist with clerical duties, clean and inspect equipment prior to use, and report equipment malfunctions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course or training and experience prior to 2000.
• Current CA CRT with Fluoroscopic permit.
• Possession of a venipuncture permit or documented venipuncture training prior to January 1, 2013, or possession of a venipuncture permit with 10 venipunctures after January 1, 2013, and venipunctures completed within 1 month of hire.
• AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required.
• Two or more years of experience in general radiology.
• At least one year of C/T experience.
• Some clerical and computer experience.
• Practices principles of ALARA.
