About The Position

This is a paid apprenticeship model which is a 16-week program that combines related online education through the ASRT, and on the job learning at Corewell Health. Completion of this program satisfies the ARRT 16-credit Structured Education Requirements for CT. After successful completion of all 12 modules of the program, participants will receive 16 CE credits and a document from the ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists) recognizing their achievement. Program includes requirement for a 1-year commitment as a CT Tech (at a .5 FTE status or higher) with Corewell Health that will begin upon entering a CT Technologist position. As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree
• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience
• 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008.
• 1 Year required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
