This is a paid apprenticeship model which is a 16-week program that combines related online education through the ASRT, and on the job learning at Corewell Health. Completion of this program satisfies the ARRT 16-credit Structured Education Requirements for CT. After successful completion of all 12 modules of the program, participants will receive 16 CE credits and a document from the ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists) recognizing their achievement. The program includes a requirement for a 1-year commitment as a CT Tech (at a .5 FTE status or higher) with Corewell Health that will begin upon entering a CT Technologist position. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280-bed acute care campus offering medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services, including The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center. As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you will be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection, making a real difference in the lives of patients and their families.
