About The Position

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans, working in an acute hospital setting while adhering to established protocols. Candidates must possess a strong ability to function independently and effectively under minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute hospital setting
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer required
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Proficient in routine CT scans
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start date
• Must apply for a State of Hawaii license upon acceptance of the offer if not already in possession of an active license
• No requests for time off will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract

• Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT units
• Experience with Vitrea workstation
• Experience in venipuncture
• Experience in MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging procedures
• Experience in biopsies
• Experience in drainages
• Experience in vascular or cardiac imaging
• Experience in trauma
• Experience in stroke

Responsibilities

• Experience in venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging procedures, biopsies, drainages, as well as vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus.
