About The Position

This is a 13-week contract assignment for a CT/X-Ray Technologist in a newly opened freestanding emergency department (FSED). The role involves working 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The technologist will be the sole imaging provider, supporting both emergency patients and scheduled outpatients. The facility has dedicated CT and X-ray areas and covers a wide range of general CT and X-ray studies for patients from pediatric to geriatric.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience performing both CT and X-ray procedures required
• Ability to work independently/solo in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with pediatric to geriatric patients
• Epic experience
• Familiarity with Siemens CT and Carestream X-ray equipment
• First-time travelers accepted if confident working independently

Responsibilities

• Function independently as the sole imaging provider during shifts.
• Support a mix of walk-in emergency patients and scheduled outpatient imaging.
• Cover a wide range of general CT and X-ray studies.
• Perform both CT and X-ray procedures.
• Work independently/solo in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide coverage for approximately 50% of the contract for holidays.
• Rotate weekends every other weekend.
