About The Position

Under the Supervision of the lead technologist, the technologist will follow established policies, perform established CT protocols, venipuncture, tele-radiography, complete routine clerical tasks and assist patients. The technologist will apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illness or injury.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of CT experience, preferably in a hospital environment
Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing as needed
High level of technical and informatics knowledge and skill
Must perform venipuncture for purposes of contrast administration under the direction of the radiologist.
Must follow all hospital and departmental contrast administration policies and procedures.
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Computerized Tomography
Massachusetts DPH Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Computerized Tomography
Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
