About The Position

This position involves providing diagnostic imaging CT services in Radiography in a competent and professional manner. The role may encompass outpatient, inpatient, urgent care, and emergency room departments. The CT Tech is responsible for accurately positioning patients, ensuring quality diagnostic images, and working closely with radiologists and physicians to diagnose or rule out disease or injury. The position requires performing proper radiologic CT examinations for accurate interpretation and delivering timely imaging services in accordance with established standards and policies. The CT Tech is also responsible for completing clinical reports and correspondence concerning patients.

Requirements

• Academic degree from an accredited Radiology Educational Program (Radiology).
• Minimum of six (6) months experience in Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Digital Radiology).
• Current North Dakota Rad/CT license.
• Current ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiology.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging CT services in Radiography in a competent and professional manner.
• Provide services at dates and times assigned by the Supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging Services.
• May encompass out-patient, inpatient, urgent care, and emergency room departments.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as CT examinations.
• Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced.
• Works closely with radiologists and the physicians who interpret medical images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
• Perform proper radiologic CT examinations for images to be interpreted correctly by the radiologist.
• Deliver appropriate and timely imaging services in accordance with the Standards of Care established by the recognized diagnostic imaging department and in accordance with the policies and procedures.
• Responsible for completing clinical reports and correspondence concerning patients under his/her care in a timely fashion.
