Requirements

Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
Relevant Work Experience: 1 year.
LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others.

Nice To Haves

If a recent graduate, new hire must obtain Radiologic credentialing within one year of being hired.

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of Computed Tomography including neuro, dynamic and CT guided paracentesis and biopsies under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
Perform all facets within general radiology.
Provide high-quality examinations in accordance with the protocols and policies of the Imaging Department while providing safe, compassionate care to the patient.
Be proficient in the operation of all equipment associated with scanning, including the CT unit, accessories, injectors, teleradiology, monitors, and laser camera.
Perform high-quality examinations with minimal supervision and within the protocols and guidelines set by the Department of Imaging Services.
Ensure the protection and safety of oneself, patients, and co-workers.
Maintain high standards of technical competence and assist other technical personnel and student radiographers.
Participate in on-call coverage for the modality as part of the job requirements.
