Cat Scan Technologist Virtual Interview Day -Throughout MAY - Manhattan, Brooklyn & Long Island
About The Position
NYU Langone Health is actively hiring for CT Technologists for our campuses in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Per diem, part time and full time opportunities are available with day, evening or overnight shifts. This position is responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State license
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography
Nice To Haves
- IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment (For some positions)
Responsibilities
