About The Position

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Tech Program.
  • BLS certification.
  • CT State RT license (new graduates under the CT Temporary Practice Provisions are considered).
  • Valid ARRT certification.
  • Significant manual skills/motor coordination & finger dexterity.
  • Ability to exert up to 35 lbs. force (Medium to Heavy effort).

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to work in X-Ray and CT Scan.
  • Some occupational risk.
  • Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
  • Position patients correctly for CT scans.
  • Administer contrast media as required.
  • Monitor patients during procedures.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
