About The Position

Performs CT and X-ray imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and Radiology Department protocols. Under the guidance and approval of the site Radiologist, administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols. Works cooperatively with facility healthcare personnel and follows facility policies and procedures. Performs equipment quality checks, troubleshoots problems, arranges for service, and notifies relevant team members. Follows quality assurance guidelines, maintains patient confidentiality, complies with safety policies and regulations, and performs additional duties as required. The role is listed for an evening shift of 7.5 hours. Salary range: $45.120–$55.167.

Requirements

• One year of CT experience.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology.
• High school diploma or GED.
• New York State Department of Health IV certification (Title 89).
• New York State DOH RT license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• ARRT license.

Nice To Haves

• ARRT registration in CT is preferred.
