About The Position

Performs a wide range of CT procedures on patients of varying ages and completes the tasks and responsibilities needed to manage patient care while patients are in the Department for procedures. Assists with developing and monitoring department-specific systems and coordinating activities that improve the quality of patient care in Diagnostic Imaging Services.

Requirements

• Three years of experience performing a wide variety of CT or imaging procedures; preferably in a hospital setting.
• Medical Radiography Technologist (MRT) license required.
• ARRT (R) (CT) certification required.
• Current CPR training required.
• Associate’s degree of Applied Sciences in Radiology required.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
• Technical competence in tasks within the scope of practice of a CT Technologist.
• Ability to use computers for documentation purposes.
