Requirements
- ARRT Certification required.
- Illinois State IEMA Certification required within six months of hire.
- Current ARRT Certification required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Illinois State IEMA Certification required within six months of hire.
- Patient-focused and compassionate.
- Detail-oriented with strong technical skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
- Committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and image quality.

Nice To Haves
- CT Registry preferred.
- Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and digital X-ray procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Explain procedures and answer patient questions to provide an exceptional patient experience.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Apply radiation safety principles and ALARA standards during all imaging procedures.
- Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking while performing technical procedures.
- Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
