About The Position

Planters Bank & Trust Company is seeking a CSR/Teller for their Ruleville Branch. This role involves promoting and maintaining positive customer relations, opening new accounts, cross-selling bank products, and providing general office support. The Teller aspect of the role includes operating a teller window with prompt, efficient, and accurate service, maintaining cash drawer security, and representing the bank professionally. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic Accounting knowledge.
• 6 months of cash handling and balancing money transactions within prior four years.
• Communication skills in dealing with customers and employees.
• Satisfactory Credit Bureau and Background Check Report.
• Resume Required.

Nice To Haves

• Bank experience not required but strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain positive relations with all customers and potential customers.
• Open new accounts (Checking, Savings, CD’s, IRA’s).
• Establish a rapport with the customer for cross-selling other bank products.
• Provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
• Answer all incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates in a professional and courteous manner.
• Operate a Teller window by providing prompt, efficient and accurate customer service.
• Maintain security of a cash drawer.
• Represent the Bank in a courteous, professional manner alert to customer needs.
• Cross-sell bank products, and refer customers to the appropriate staff.
