About The Position

This role is responsible for managing customer quote requests, processing purchase orders, and acting as a liaison between production and customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage systems and solve problems.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
  • Ability to operate all customer service-related systems and software programs effectively.
  • Must be an analytical thinker with problem solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Able to effectively facilitate meetings and provide procedural training
  • Have good temperament to handle both customer / internal issues, disputes and emergencies
  • Fluent typist

Responsibilities

  • Promptly respond to customer quote requests with accurate quotations, noting any applicable exceptions.
  • Enter and maintain customer purchase orders and releases accurately.
  • Ensure the proper part number revision on the customer order matches the system.
  • Keep track of open order reports and check with production and purchasing on status of open orders.
  • Professionally answer incoming calls.
  • Be a liaison between production and customer service.
  • Perform any other duties needed to help drive our vision and abide by our organization’s values.
