About The Position

Heimark Distributing is seeking a self-motivated and dedicated CDL Driver to join our Delivery department in Perris, CA. The position requires a commercially licensed truck driver who will be responsible for safely delivering beverage products to retail customer accounts. This position generally works from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The normal days of work are Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED Equivalent
Current (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Clean driving record (minimum of 3 years)
Accountable to follow all laws and regulations
Flexible with start times and work assignments
Obtain a DOT medical card
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs.
Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler)

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicle to transport beverage products to retail customers in a safe and efficient manner
Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area
Ensure safely and timely delivery of our products to retail customers
Review orders prior to delivery
Maintain product freshness and presentation through product rotation
Invoice and deliver beverage products to our customers
Loading and Unloading product from their vehicle
Provide exceptional customer service to our customer base
Perform pre-and post-trip inspection on the truck and trailer for safe operation of vehicle and record issues
Ability to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers, and retailers
