About The Position

As a CSfC Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, installing, testing, and deploying Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) and Cross-Domain architectures for production use in government networks. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in network engineering or a related IT role.
  • Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and practices.
  • Cisco, Aruba, or Juniper certifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Secret or above security clearance.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
  • Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
  • Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Experience designing and implementing Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) solutions desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Systems integration and lab experience desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD is desired.
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, SecurityX, CCNP, or CCIE.
  • Experience with government network environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and configure networking components such as Cisco Firepower Firewalls, Aruba Mobility Controller VPN Gateways, and management systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across multiple devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and management systems.
  • Understand and implement disaster recovery procedures.
  • Interpret, implement, and assess DISA STIGs.
  • Apply cybersecurity hardening practices for major network platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.).
  • Be familiar with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Monitor, diagnose, and optimize network performance while maintaining Information Assurance (IA) compliance.
  • Engineer highly available and fault-tolerant solutions.
  • Design, configure, and implement CSfC solutions based on customer performance criteria and specifications.
  • Conduct systems pre-test and acceptance tests to validate designed performance criteria.
  • Structure mock designs based on RFP specifications.
  • Collaborate with government and subcontractors at customer sites for CSfC solution integration into existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and perform technical presentations for customers.
  • Serve as a technical resource at customer briefings.
  • Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary (up to 50% globally).
  • Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies.
  • Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures.
