About The Position

The CSA (Customer Service Associate) I - Scheduling role is responsible for initial customer contact via telephone and potentially web. This involves receiving, qualifying, and processing customer orders accurately, efficiently, and courteously according to established procedures. The primary focus of this department is scheduling patients for clinic or tele-visits with Respiratory Therapists for Sleep Apnea equipment setup, including CPAP and BiPAP. Additionally, Schedulers handle Portable Oxygen Concentrator evaluations by asking qualifying questions and arranging patient appointments with a Respiratory Therapist to assess the need for oxygen for portability. The role also involves actively promoting a Lean work culture through team member duties, encouraging LEAN principles and processes, and seeking continuous work process improvements. Team members are expected to take ownership of their motivation, morale, performance, and professional development, demonstrating behavior consistent with MedCare's mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

  • Previous data entry experience.
  • Customer service-related experience.
  • Basic Math and Keyboard Proficiency.
  • Proficient 10-key Numeric Skills.
  • Functional skills on PC and Related Software.
  • Independent thinking and decision-making ability.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Sound judgement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of Payor/Insurance benefits.

Responsibilities
