About The Position

Lead MPS CS US California team: manage people and development, develop and implement policies, year plan and practices, contribute to the development of strategy. Work hand in hand with MPS CS US Regional manager California in line with corporate guidelines, (business) plans and strategy, in order to ensure the realization of (strategic) objectives of the assigned MPS CS US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience required.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
  • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customer.
  • English proficiency (both oral and written).

  • Team management or leading role.
  • Semiconductor or related industry experience.
  • In-depth understanding of lithography operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop policies and objectives for the assigned unit and contribute to the development of the strategy on the next level so that policy directs activities within the assigned unit.
  • Develop, manage and ensure realization year plan/budget for the assigned unit and acquire approval.
  • Direct and drive the realization of planned results and of departmental contributions to cross-sector projects, monitor and decide on allocation of finances to remain within budget restrictions.
  • Evaluate organizational design, (work)processes and systems and initiate and implement changes and improvements.
  • Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop (the cooperation between) employees, ensure staffing and increase enablement.
  • Keep up with internal and external developments and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information.
  • Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses.
  • Gives input for or drafts year plan and budget for own team, and realizes execution. Time horizon typically is three to six months.
  • Explains and convinces internal and external parties about chosen solutions based on content-driven arguments.
  • Interact with department and other department manager and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluates (work)processes for own functional discipline and initiates and implements process improvements and proposes changes in organizational design to management.
  • Supervises work of ≥10 subordinates.
  • Coordinates activities that require at least advanced vocational, working and thinking level (more experienced bachelors).
