Crusher Plant Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates and monitors portable crushing and screening equipment to meet daily production targets. The position involves setting up, tearing down, and relocating the portable plant across sites throughout Southeast Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs to ensure safe and efficient operations, as well as adjusting plant settings and material flow to optimize product quality and throughput. The operator must follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures while maintaining clean and organized work areas.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate crushing/screening equipment safely and efficiently.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly within SEPA and adapt to changing job sites.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and clear communication in a production environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications/licensing for equipment operation.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Responsibilities
