About The Position

Operate and maintain crushing and screening equipment to produce aggregates according to specifications at Heidelberg Materials NE LLC.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in a quarry or aggregate production environment.
• Knowledge of crushing and screening plant operations and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of crushing equipment, including jaw, cone, and impact crushers, and associated screening plants.
• Monitor equipment performance, gauges, and material flow to ensure optimal production and quality control.
• Perform pre-shift inspections, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on plant machinery.
• Adjust equipment settings as needed to meet production targets and material specifications.
• Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as front-end loaders or excavators.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment around the plant.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with plant management and other team members regarding operational issues or concerns.
• Complete daily production reports and maintenance logs accurately.
