The Crumb Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production output. This role leads and supports production team members, assigns work, monitors performance, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. This position acts as a key link between frontline employees and management, helping resolve issues, improve processes, and meet production goals on time and within specifications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience performing basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems in an operational or manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, specifically supporting granulation and pulverize processes.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating skid steers, front-end loaders, and forklifts
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating night shift schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on Granulation and Powderizer operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience leading a team and optimizing production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operation of Granulation and Powderizer equipment to ensure efficient production.
  • Responsible for mechanical maintenance duties, diagnosing equipment issues, and performing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and optimize production quality to consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Accurately enter, track, and review production and maintenance activities using ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure operational and departmental needs are achieved.
  • Identify and address equipment or process issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Lead and develop team members through training and mentoring to optimize output and meet production goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational objectives.
