Cruise Sales Advisor - US

The Cruise Globe
Remote

About The Position

The Cruise Globe is the world's fastest-growing cruise app, and its booking arm, The Cruise Globe Agency, aims to be the world's leading cruise agency within a decade. This role is for an in-country, customer-facing Cruise Advisor who will handle high-intent inquiries from the Globe platform and Emma Cruises' audience from start to finish. The goal is to build a team of named, visible, expert advisors rather than an anonymous call center. The position reports to the Head of US Agency and is supported by a sales support team. There is a clear path for progression to Senior Cruise Advisor and Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • A deep cruise specialism: Typically 3+ years of experience directly in cruise, with strong knowledge of mainstream and premium lines, cabin nuance, fare and promotion mechanics, payment schedules, and common booking pitfalls.
  • A demonstrable track record: Proven history of personal cruise sales success with multiple 7-figure annual booking volumes. Ability to discuss personal sales, close rates, repeat business, and referrals credibly.
  • The ability to build phone-first rapport: Naturally build trust and warmth over the phone.
  • CRM-fluency: Confident and consistent use of CRM as a daily tool for logging conversations, managing pipeline, and maintaining customer records.
  • Booking Platform proficiency: Good working knowledge of major cruise line platforms for efficient and accurate booking, and familiarity with insurance platforms for upsell.
  • The ability to excel remotely: Genuinely able to excel in a remote environment – self-motivated, organized, and consistent without supervision, comfortable working asynchronously over Slack, CRM, and docs.
  • Ambition & Flexibility: Passion for the work and willingness to put in the time required to achieve great things, which may not always align with a standard 9 to 5.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a host agency or consortium model, ideally within the Internova / Global Travel Collection network.
  • Familiarity with using T-Profile as a CRM.
  • Familiarity with AdvisorOS, Cruise Complete (or comparable host back-office systems).
  • Group cruise sales experience.
  • Personal cruise experience.
  • A public track record of recognition (top producer, President's Club, supplier recognition).

Responsibilities

  • Advise and close, end to end: Take high-intent inbound inquiries by phone and email from the Globe platform and Emma Cruises' audience. Build genuine rapport quickly to foster long-standing customer relationships. Design itineraries and quotes, and close cruise bookings across mainstream, premium, and select luxury lines. Book the whole trip where it adds value (air, hotels, transfers, insurance, and extras), not just the cruise. Handle group bookings (milestone birthdays, anniversaries, reunions) confidently and accurately.
  • Be the guest’s trusted point of contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests throughout their journey. Keep the CRM accurate and up-to-date with clean records, logged conversations, and preferences. Run proactive post-booking service, including pre-cruise touchpoints, price monitoring, and being genuinely useful before, during, and after the trip. Drive repeat bookings and referrals, focusing on the lifetime guest relationship.
  • Protect the brand: Provide honest, unbiased advice, prioritizing the right recommendation over commission. Handle problems and crisis situations calmly with the customer's interest first. Operate to a high standard of accuracy on fares, cabins, payment schedules, and documentation.
  • Work as part of a remote team: Excel in a fully remote, fast-paced environment, being self-directed, disciplined, and reliable. Follow agency processes and QA standards, and provide honest feedback for improvement. Utilize the Globe platform's customer data (wishlists, viewed itineraries, history) to prepare for calls.
