About The Position

The Crude Oil Transload Operator is responsible for loading unit trains and manifest rail cars with crude oil produced in Trenton, ND, using fixed and mobile loading racks. This role also involves assisting crude haulers with unloading their trucks and safely transloading their loads into Savage's holding tank system. The operator will be responsible for hooking up hoses, checking for leaks, and operating the control panel. Additionally, the position requires ensuring the accuracy of receiving and shipping paperwork, performing general maintenance, cleaning, housekeeping, and snow removal. A commitment to safe work practices and the ability to follow standard operating procedures are essential.

Requirements

• Mechanically Inclined
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to attend and pass all tests associated with job-related coursework - this includes, but is not limited to, OSHA, HazMat, and FRA
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Solid work history will be considered in lieu of education
