About The Position

As a Transload Operator, you'll work outdoors transferring hazardous and non-hazardous materials between rail tank cars and tanker trucks. This is a hands-on position that involves mechanical operation, climbing railcars, and ensuring every transfer meets EPA, FRA, and OSHA standards. You'll use pumps, hoses, and valves to move products safely, monitor equipment during transfers, and complete required inspection and transfer logs. Each day brings variety - from preparing materials for transfer by heating or venting, to checking for leaks or equipment issues, to communicating with drivers and supervisors to keep operations on schedule. You'll receive full safety training, protective gear, and ongoing support from a team that puts safety first.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Must be clean shaven for proper respirator fit.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in industrial labor, construction, warehouse, or mechanical work.
