Interns will have scheduled one-on-one meetings with their supervisor to sharpen gifts and talents. They will participate in weekly/monthly meetings with fellow interns (Summer/weekly and Monthly/School-year). Interns will be involved with all special events and have the opportunity to do prep work for events. They will have the opportunity to attend monthly staff chapel, all church staff meetings, team meetings (contingent upon their college schedule and flexibility). Interns will be exposed to how staff connects and what they do through the week, allowing a better understanding of how full-time ministry operates. They will have additional time throughout the week to focus on a particular area of ministry for more intensive focus (e.g., pastoral ministry, writing, set design, and service planning). Interns will assist in maintaining the highest possible ministry standards and professional ethics in accordance with the goals, Purpose Statement, and Core Values of Crossings Community Church.
