About The Position

The Peabody School District is seeking a Crossing Guard to work 10 hours a week, specifically during school days. The position involves monitoring a crosswalk at Lynn Street and Rainbow Street, providing street crossing services for students during two hours each day (one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon). This role is for the school year, approximately 180 days. Responsibilities

  • Monitor crosswalk and provides street crossing services for students at assigned crosswalk
  • Report and recommend safety related issues to the Lead Crossing Guard
  • Report problems to the location specific Principal and Lead Crossing Guard
  • Complies with all local laws and procedures
  • Perform other such duties as deemed necessary by the School District
