About The Position
The Crossing Guard maintains a safe environment by monitoring activity, assisting visitors, and responding to incidents. The role involves controlling entrances and managing traffic, patrolling buildings and surrounding areas, escorting personnel and materials, inspecting security and fire exposures, completing daily activity and incident reports, responding to alarms and emergencies, and communicating with supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–6 months of security or life-safety experience
- State Guard license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
- Vigilant, disciplined, and observant
- Clear and professional communication
- Ability to stay calm and focused in stressful situations
- Reliable and customer-service oriented
- Adaptability to changing environments
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
Responsibilities
