About The Position

The City of Cibolo is seeking a Crossing Guard to join our team. As a key member of the Police Department, the Crossing Guard is responsible for the safety and welfare of children crossing roadways at designated school crossing sites on school days at designated times. Our Crossing Guards make a difference in each student lives by engaging with them and ensuring that they safety cross street intersections. As a values-based organization, the Crossing Guard will promote and exhibit the City’s core values of Professional Development, Accountability, Respect, Teamwork, and Integrity in daily behaviors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
• Available to work Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screening
• Pass a physical
