About The Position

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for scanning, wrapping, and breaking down pallets of boxes in the stage area to be put away in the warehouse rack system. Job duties are accomplished using a motorized forklift. At times, other job tasks may be part of the daily routine. During the shift, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and bend, squat, lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds in a work environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 0 degrees. Other duties assignment by management. Most of the time will be driving PIT including stand-up forklifts and reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to 12 hours)

Requirements

• MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE WITH A SINGLE EMPLOYER WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS.
• NO GAPS IN EMPLOYMENT GREATER THAN 6 MONTHS WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS.
• Proficiency in reading and writing.
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• 3 MONTHS OF STAND-UP FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.
• Composite toe boots preferred.
• May be trained on Cherry picker for additional tasks.

Responsibilities

• Scanning, wrapping, and breaking down pallets of boxes in the stage area to be put away in the warehouse rack system.
• Using a motorized forklift to accomplish job duties.
• Performing other job tasks as may be part of the daily routine.
• Moving around the work area at a fast pace.
• Bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 70 pounds.
• Driving PIT including stand-up forklifts and reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environments.
• Completing on-the-job paperwork.
• Effectively communicating across all management levels.
