About The Position

The Head Coach’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement an exemplary athletic program that provides the best possible educational and athletic experience for each student-athlete. This includes active collaboration with the Model Secondary School for the Deaf (MSSD) athletics program to establish a strong, sustainable pipeline for identifying, mentoring, and developing young athletes.

Requirements

• Knowledge & Experience in Cross Country
• Knowledge and Understanding of Middle School Aged Students
• Ability to communicate in American Sign Language.
• Must undergo and pay for a background investigation and be cleared before starting first day on the job.
• Background Check and Gallaudet Student Conduct Office Records must be in a good standing.
