About The Position

Bison Transport is seeking established Company Driver teams with 24 months of tractor-trailer experience for a cross-border team schedule. This role involves driving a Class 1/AZ truck, operating 5 days out, and averaging 5,000 miles per week. Drivers will be paid weekly and can expect to earn an average of $8700 per month, with a $1500 sign-on bonus. The routes include cross-border runs into the U.S. and within Canada, hauling various commodities. Flexibility and a commitment to safety are essential.

Requirements

• Established Company Driver teams with 24 months tractor trailer experience.
• Must have a qualified team partner.
• Must be U.S. qualified.
• Must be willing to haul commodities including meat and alcohol.
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license.
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Values safety.
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1/AZ truck on a cross-border team schedule.
• Operate 5 days out, averaging 5,000 miles per week.
• Haul commodities including meat and alcohol.
• Drive Highway 17 in Ontario year-round.
• Be available for additional work upon request.
• Adapt to occasional variations in freight and destinations.
• Adjust hours and days of work according to operational demands.
