Cross-Border Midwest Short-Haul Class 1/AZ Driver
About The Position
Primarily running open-board Canada/U.S. in Ontario, Quebec, and the Midwest U.S. This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time and average 2,500 miles per week. Candidates must be eligible for a FAST card. Must be willing to drive in all Canadian Provinces and U.S. States to support varying customer and freight requirements. Must be willing to drive in the Northeast U.S. if required. Regional freight will be required. Required to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year. Ability to pull refrigerated freight if available. Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.
Requirements
- 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- U.S. qualified
- Eligible for a FAST card
- Minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
- Valid Class 1/AZ license
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
