About The Position

Bison Transport is seeking a dedicated Cross-Border Class 1/AZ Driver for a unique 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. This role involves hauling dry van and reefer freight across Canada and the U.S. Drivers are paid weekly and on time. The position requires the ability to drive on Highway 17 in Ontario year-round, average 7,000 miles per month, and potentially handle additional work upon request. Regional work is mandatory, and drivers must be able to haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol. The truck is a non-smoking, unit-share vehicle. Requirements

• Company Driver with 24 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license.
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Values safety.
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1/AZ tractor-trailer cross-border between Canada and the U.S.
• Haul dry van and reefer freight on an open board.
• Operate on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year.
• Average 7,000 miles per month.
• Perform regional work.
• Haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.
• Operate a non-smoking, truck-share unit.
