About The Position

Bison Transport is seeking experienced Class 1/AZ Drivers for a cross-border long-haul position. This role involves driving open-board Canada/U.S. long-haul routes, with freight and destinations varying based on operational needs. Drivers will be required to drive in B.C., including Highway 1 and Highway 3, year-round. The assigned unit requires drivers to be on the road for 24 days per month, which may include regional freight. A flexible schedule is necessary, with weekend departures expected. Drivers must be able to haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1/AZ license.
• 24 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• U.S. qualified.
• Minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience.
• Minimum of 6 months B.C. Mountain driving experience.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities
