About The Position

As a Crop Worker, you will play a vital role and your mail duties will include: Care and treatment of crops and trials. Execution of emasculations and crossings according to a crossing scheme. Harvesting of crossings, seeds and fruits of the crops. Participation in all crop care, seed extraction, cleaning and/or breeding support activities. Daily functional guidance of seasonal workers. Co-responsible for a healthy and safe working environment. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Work on weekends and holidays, as necessary.
Work outside in different weather conditions.
Strong planning, execution of own, more complex programs and organizational skills.
A thorough understanding of English, both verbal and written is required.
The ability to work independently.
The ability to guide less experienced Crop Workers, seasonal workers and be the direct point of contact for colleagues outside own department.
Be responsible for own projects, overview the communication towards Breeders.
Work includes simple administrative tasks.
Must be an eligible driver under our insurance policy.

Nice To Haves

Related experience a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel a plus.
The ability to speak and understand some Spanish is highly desired.
