About The Position

AGRILAND FS is seeking a Crop Sales Specialist with a passion for agronomy and working directly with farmers. The role influences agronomy inputs across customers’ acres and involves precision farming, agricultural credit, seed, plant food, plant protection, and professional custom application. The company provides management, operations, and technical support, along with incentives designed to prioritize and reward activities that predict success. The position offers a company vehicle and laptop computer. Pay is based on experience. Candidates must pass all pre-employment testing and a background check. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an agriculture-related field or equivalent experience.
At least three years of experience in agriculture, preferably in job-related work.
Strong basic understanding of agronomy technical knowledge.
Strong communication, persuasion, and business skills.
Strong work ethic and the ability or experience to balance work and life issues.
Proven ability to take initiative and form fast, strong business relationships.
Must pass all pre-employment testing and a background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience setting appointments and demonstrating value to customers.
Experience working in production agriculture or agricultural retail.
