About The Position

Sompo is seeking a Crop Insurance Corporate Finance Intern to join the AgriSompo team. This 10-week internship provides students with opportunities to learn about the crop insurance industry through on-the-job learning, structured development, networking, and interaction with executive leaders. The intern will be based at AgriSompo headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas, and may travel about 15% of the time.

The program includes exposure to Crop Underwriting, Operations, Field Claims, Marketing, Data Analytics, Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, and other departments. Interns will participate in leadership learning and networking activities, and contribute to a business project that they will present to the Executive Group.

Requirements

• Must be a rising senior currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
