About The Position
Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) is seeking a Crop Inputs Representative to join their Grain & Crop Inputs Division. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and providing agronomic solutions and crop input products. The successful candidate will ensure customers receive expert advice and high-quality service.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in an Agriculture-related program or experience in an Agriculture retail business.
- Experience in dealing with agricultural producers.
- Knowledge of local crops and crop protection solutions.
- Sales and customer service skills, with the ability to execute plans that drive revenue generation.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
Nice To Haves
- P.Ag or CCA certification (or the ability to obtain) is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new customers and expand business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and providing agronomic services.
- Offer technical support and advice on crop inputs products to help maximize yields and profitability.
- Stay current on the latest crop input technologies, industry advancements and best practices.
- Collaborate with Crop Inputs Manager, Merchant, and suppliers to stay updated on product availability and pricing.
- Assist with operations and administrative duties as required to ensure efficient delivery and exceptional service.
