Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as an Crop Inputs Manager based in Marwayne, Alberta. Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the operation of a crop input facility and/or agricultural application equipment.
Post-secondary education in an ag-related, science or business field.
Experience in team management or supervision, demonstrating effective leadership abilities.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Proven analytical, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient computer skills with aptitude for learning and adapting to new software applications.
Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills including working collaboratively with other business areas and departments.

Responsibilities

Manage the development and operation of a profitable crop inputs business.
Provide direction to sales and operational staff in the implementation and delivery of annual and seasonal plans.
Oversee business development and customer service operations of the facility.
Grow the volume of the crop inputs business with existing customers and proactively seek out new business opportunities.
Monitor market developments and updates to determine competitive price offerings.
Perform a hands-on approach to the set up and operation of the chemical and fertilizer facilities.
Perform regular maintenance and repair on facility equipment.
Supervise and develop facility operators and truck drivers to ensure operations are safe, efficient, and profitable.
Oversee all audits, safety programs and the daily operations of the facility.
Assist with hiring full-time and seasonal operational staff.
Perform all operational duties required at the facility as needed.
