Requirements

Normally requires a high school diploma.
Must possess a valid driver’s license (preferably class DZ), a driving abstract that represents a history of safe operation, as well as the ability to maintain insurability.
A strong mechanical aptitude with ability to problem solve.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to read maps, and work orders, as well as follow specific delivery directions and instructions.
Agriculture experience is a MUST.
Willingness to work in Indoor/Outdoor working conditions with some lifting and climbing requirements.
Willingness to work extended hours during peak times.

Nice To Haves

Professional applicator experience an asset.
A current Ag Exterminator License, and/or Nutrient Technician License would be a definite asset.

Responsibilities

Operate agricultural application equipment, such as loaders, skid steers, forklifts, etc.
Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Apply dry and liquid fertilizer and/or crop protection products.
Complete required paperwork, driver’s logs, and daily inspections.
Ensure application is made in a timely manner that promotes superior customer service and professionalism
