About The Position

Xterra Health is seeking a hands-on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to build and manage their conversion funnel, which is crucial for reaching veterans. This is a part-time, ongoing role focused on launching landing pages in Unbounce, improving website conversion rates, and establishing a testing foundation for future growth. Strong performers may have opportunities for role expansion or conversion to full-time employment.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in conversion rate optimization, growth marketing, or a similar analytical role.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing landing pages in Unbounce.
  • Experience with GHL (GoHighLevel) form routing and WordPress.
  • Practical knowledge of UTM taxonomy and tracking parameters.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely, VWO, or AB Tasty.
  • Proficiency with analytics platforms such as GA4, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient for scoping or troubleshooting test builds.
  • Strong grasp of statistical significance, sample size, and experiment design.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, benefits, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • SQL, UX/UI experience, or a CRO or analytics certification (CXL, Google Analytics, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and manage landing pages at scale in Unbounce, ensuring correct form setup, CRM routing, and UTM tracking.
  • Improve website conversion rates by optimizing page structure, forms, calls to action, page speed, and mobile experience.
  • Reduce friction in lead capture and booking flows, collaborating with Marketing Operations on CRM data integrity and attribution.
  • Analyze behavior data (GA4, heatmaps, funnel reports) to identify friction points and prioritize fixes.
  • Develop a testing roadmap using an impact and effort framework and conduct A/B tests when traffic allows for valid results.
  • Write conversion-focused copy adhering to brand guidelines and avoiding outcome guarantees; manage tracking, pixel, and form changes through VP of Marketing and legal review.
  • Collaborate with web development, design, and content teams to implement changes and report results regularly.
