About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 1099 Locums position. This role involves providing anesthesia services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting, covering 2-3 days per week. The case types include General Surgery, Bariatric, Plastics & Cosmetics, and some GYN. The position requires independent practice without direct supervision. The work environment can be fast-paced with multiple cases or involve longer, fewer cases, with some days running 10-12 hours and others around 6 hours.

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• 1099 Locums independent contractor status.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) model.
• Experience with Plastic/Cosmetic, Weight Loss, and General Surgery case mix.
• No recent malpractice issues.
• Must carry own malpractice insurance.
• Excellent clinical outcomes.
• Excellent receptive, professional, and interpersonal working skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GYN cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
• Administer anesthesia for General Surgery, Bariatric, Plastics & Cosmetics, and GYN cases.
• Work independently without direct directives.
• Manage cases that can range from 10 cases in a 10-12 hour day to 2-3 longer cases in a 10-12 hour day.
• Adapt to varying daily schedules, including some shorter 6-hour days.
