At SRMC, our CRNAs work independently to provide a full spectrum of anesthesia services. Enjoy a rotating schedule of 3 weeks on and 1 week off (13 weeks off per year)! We also provide an additional 2 weeks of PTO and 1 week of continuing medical education (CME). Requirements

License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska.
Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
Complete the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor’s certification examination.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Cardiac Life Support/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
If certifications are not current, RN shall participate in classes offered at SRMC.

Nice To Haves

Prefer 3 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Provide a full range of anesthesia services customarily provided by CRNAs.
Cases include a mix of General, Endoscopy, Urology, Orthopedics, OB, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Podiatry.
Provide services in the Emergency Department, as well as perform ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and central line placement.
Conduct an anesthesia practice in accordance with the ethics of the nursing profession and in compliance with currently approved practices in the field of anesthesia.
