About The Position
Part Time CRNA opportunity with OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL, an eastern Illinois community with array of outdoor recreational options. The 174-bed facility is part of the OSF Health Care system. This integrated healthcare network is operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis based in Peoria, IL. Five CRNAs and three anesthesiologists work together in a care team model. Five CRNAs and four anesthesiologists work together in a care team model. Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
