About The Position

Meritus Medical Center, in partnership with Anesthesia Management Solutions (AMS), is seeking CRNAs to join our expanding 1099 PRN provider team in Hagerstown, Maryland. Our fully staffed anesthesia team is expanding coverage opportunities across both Meritus Medical Center and our growing ASC network. Whether you want consistent supplemental work or occasional shifts around another position or personal schedule, our PRN model is designed to provide flexibility. There is no minimum monthly shift requirement to join or remain part of our PRN team. Work as much or as little as your schedule allows. Our hospital anesthesia team is led by Anesthesia Department Chair Dr. Matthew Radimer, with Erica Itnyre serving as Chief CRNA and James Roupe serving as Vice Chief CRNA. The leadership team is focused on maintaining a collaborative, provider-centered culture while expanding anesthesia coverage to support continued surgical and procedural growth. CRNAs are an integral part of the clinical team and have opportunities to maintain and expand skills in: Regional blocks Spinals Epidurals Meritus Medical Center is a 300+ bed Level III Trauma Center serving Western Maryland and the surrounding region. The hospital offers: Advanced, state-of-the-art anesthesia technology New anesthesia machines EPIC electronic medical record EPIC training for incoming providers Streamlined credentialing, typically approximately 30–60 days A broad hospital-based surgical and procedural case mix PRN CRNAs may participate in cases including: Orthopedics General Surgery Vascular Surgery Urology GI/Endoscopy Cath Lab OB/GYN Podiatry Neurosurgery Ophthalmology Additional hospital-based surgical and procedural cases appropriate to the CRNA scope of practice Meritus supports more than 2,200 births annually, providing substantial obstetric anesthesia experience and opportunities for epidurals, spinals, and other obstetric anesthesia care. Our PRN opportunities extend beyond the hospital. Meritus and AMS are expanding anesthesia coverage across three ASC locations: C.P. Choudari Surgery Center – Multispecialty ambulatory surgery center offering a diverse range of outpatient surgical cases Meritus Robinwood Endoscopy Center – Dedicated GI/Endoscopy facility Meritus Urology – New urology-focused location with an anticipated opening in early 2027 We are building our PRN provider teams now. Meritus and AMS are actively credentialing both CRNAs and Anesthesiologists to create a strong provider pool across the Hospital and ASC network. Joining the PRN team now allows providers to complete credentialing and participate in current coverage opportunities while positioning themselves for additional Hospital and ASC shifts as the network expands. Located in Hagerstown, Maryland, Meritus Medical Center is conveniently accessible for providers throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. The location offers excellent regional access while allowing many providers to avoid the congestion associated with the I-270 corridor and larger metropolitan areas. This is an opportunity to become credentialed with an established, fully staffed anesthesia team without committing to a traditional Full-Time schedule. Pick up Hospital or ASC shifts according to your availability and program needs, maintain your existing position if desired, and build a PRN relationship that fits your schedule. No minimum monthly shift commitment.

Requirements

CRNA certification
Ability to maintain and expand skills in regional blocks, spinals, and epidurals.
Willingness to work PRN shifts as needed.
Ability to complete credentialing process (typically 30-60 days).
