About The Position
The CRNA is responsible for the preoperative assessment of patient status and ordering of preoperative medication under supervision. This role involves the administration of drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia, insertion of arterial and venous catheters, and monitoring the patient during anesthesia until consciousness is regained. The CRNA is also frequently involved with the Code 88 team for resuscitation. This is a Per Diem position.
Requirements
- 0 to 3 months experience
- Current requirements to CRNA graduates
- Current NJ-RN license
- AANA Council eligible/certified
- Minimum requirement of current ACLS
- Maintains CEU status according to AANA Council on Re-Certification
- Confirmation of credentials must be communicated to hospital Credentials Committee
- APN certification, or pending application as required

Responsibilities
